Is it safe to use every day?
Yes. The Sonna Mask is designed for daily use and a ten minute session is all you need. LED light therapy at these wavelengths has a well established safety profile, and Sonna is FDA 510(k) cleared and TGA listed.
When will I see results?
Most people notice a shift in radiance and skin tone within the first few weeks of consistent daily use. Changes in firmness and texture build over eight to twelve weeks as your skin's own collagen response is supported. Consistency matters. Use it the way you'd use a serum: every day, not only when you remember.
Can I use it with retinol or other active skincare?
Yes, with care. Apply LED therapy on clean, bare skin, then layer your actives afterwards. We recommend starting light therapy before introducing new actives so you can tell how your skin is responding. If you're using prescription retinoids or recently had in-clinic treatments, check with your dermatologist first.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Red and near-infrared light therapy has no known contraindications for pregnancy or breastfeeding. As with any wellness device, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before starting. The mask does not use heat, UV, or chemicals.
Can I use it if I have sensitive skin or rosacea?
LED light therapy is generally well tolerated by sensitive skin types. Yellow (590nm) specifically supports skin calming and redness reduction. Start with shorter sessions of five minutes and build up. If you have a specific skin condition, check with your dermatologist before starting.
What's the difference between Sonna and other LED masks?
Three things. First, 488 LEDs, significantly more than most masks on the market. Second, four clinically studied wavelengths including yellow (590nm), which adds the calming and radiance building layer most three wavelength devices leave out. Third, both FDA 510(k) clearance and TGA listing, meaning the device meets clinical safety and performance standards in both markets.
How long does the mask last?
The Sonna LED Mask is built for years of daily use. The LED lifespan exceeds the practical life of the device. The silicone is medical grade and designed to flex with your face over thousands of sessions.

If you receive a faulty device, contact us at hello@sonna.com.au and we'll sort it quickly. Under Australian Consumer Law, you have guarantees that apply alongside any manufacturer warranty. We stand behind the product.
